Lola's Critter Farm is my YouTube show in which I take a handful of random influences/inspirations, and craft them into a totally new creature. Equal parts unhinged and heartfelt, the series acts as a visual diary for the Pee-Wee's Playhouse-ification of my inner world. It showcases my creative practice at its core: the intersection of analog and digital art, and demonstrates how I combine a wide variety of mediums, both 2-dimensional (illustration, film, animation) and 3-dimensional (clay, papier-mâché, soft sculpture, and beyond). I make the entire series by myself, from the critter fabrication to the filming, editing, and voiceover; this is a one woman (and a lot of critters) show!
